The Smart Lid utilizes BLUETOOTH Smart wireless technology to send this information to the Thermos Smart Lid App on your iOS device to track and monitor your daily, weekly and monthly progress. With the combination of the app and bottle, you’ll calculate your really useful water intake based on suggested hydration goals relative to your age, gender, height and weight and track your performance against these goals. It can even send you gentle reminders during the day if you don’t seem to be relatively keeping up with your predetermined goals. The lid contains a battery that lasts up to 12 days before needing to be charged. The Smart Lid and app work with the following iOS devices: iPhone 4s or later; iPad 3rd generation or later; iPad mini or later; iPod touch 5th generation or later; and requires iOS 7+.
